पद्म सम्मान 2015-सम्मानित 104 लोगों की सूची

प्रसिद्ध कार्टूनिस्ट आरके लक्ष्मण का निधन
भारत के प्रसिद्ध कार्टूनिस्ट आरके लक्ष्मण का 26 जनवरी, 2015 को निधन हो गया। 'आम आदमी' को अपनी कूची से जीवंत करने वाले 93 वर्षीय लक्ष्मण को पेशाब संबंधी संक्रमण के लिए 17 जनवरी को दीनानाथ मंगेशकर अस्पताल के सघन निगरानी कक्ष(आईसीयू) में भर्ती करवाया गया था।
रासीपुरम कृष्णस्वामी लक्ष्मण का जन्म 23 अक्टूबर 1921 को मैसूर में हुआ था। लक्ष्मण को ‘कॉमन मैन’ नामक शानदार कार्टून चरित्र गढ़ने का श्रेय जाता है। वे आम आदमी की पीड़ा खास तौर पर समाज की विकृतियों, राजनीतिक विदूषकों और उनकी विचारधारा के विषमताओं पर भी वे तीखे ब्रश चलाते थे। लक्ष्मण सबसे ज्यादा अपने कॉमिक स्ट्रिप 'द कॉमन मैन' के लिए जाने जाते हैं।
लक्ष्मण ने मैसूर के महाराजा कॉलेज से पढ़ाई की। उसी दौरान वह 'स्वराज' और 'ब्लिट्ज' जैसी पत्रिकाओं के लिए काम किया करते थे। उन्होंने पहली बार बतौर कार्टूनिस्ट 'द फ्री प्रेस जर्नल' में फुल टाइम जॉब किया। वह वहां राजनीतिक कार्टूनिस्ट की हैसियत से थे। बाद में वह अंग्रेजी अखबार 'द टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया' चले गए, जहां उन्होंने 'द कॉमन मैन' की रचना की और करीब 50 साल तक काम किया।
आरके लक्ष्मण अपनी बेहतरीन प्रतिभा के लिए पद्म विभूषण, पद्म भूषण, बीडी गोयनका पुरस्कार, दुर्गा रतन स्वर्ण पदक और रमन मैग्सेसे जैसे प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कार प्राप्त कर चुके हैं।
एक कार्टूनिस्ट होने के अलावा उन्होंने 'द एलोक्वोयेन्ट ब्रश', 'होटल रिवीयेरा', 'द मैसेंजर' और अपनी आत्मकथा 'द टनल ऑफ टाइम' का संपादन भी किया है

क्या बात है
क्या बात है ओबामा आ रहे है चीफ गेस्ट बनकर हमारे देश मैं भाई घर आये मेहमान का स्वागत करना तो हमारी परम्परा रही है भाइयो वैसे भी हम हिंदुस्तानी दिल से अमीर और दिमाग से हमेशा कमजोर रहे है दोस्तों। जब हम पाकिस्तानी सुवरो को उनकी नापाक हरकतों के बाद भी अजमेर बुलाकर बिरयानी खिला सकते है तो ये तो है ही क्या
आपको जानकारी के लिए बता दू करीब 80000 सुरक्षा कर्मियों को अतिरिक्त लगाया गया है इस वी वी आई पी सुरक्षा हेतु। ये तो वही बात हो गई घर मैं एक गिलास छाछ नहाउ, पीयू, रायता बनाऊ या कड्डी। अन्तर्राट्रीय सुरक्षा मानको के हिसाब से हर 450 की आबादी पे एक सुरक्षा कर्मी होना चाहिए मजे की बात है हिंदुस्तान मैं ये 779 पर एक सुरक्षा कर्मी है और उस पर भी हमारे नेताओ की सुरक्षा, समय समय पर होने वाले मतदान , त्यौहार , दंगे , पुलिस के अवकाश और ऎसे ही अनेक अवसर जब हमें अपनी सुरक्षा अपने हाथ ही करनी होती है कई बार तो चोरो से ज्यादा डर इन सुरक्षा कर्मियों से लगता है
सीमा पर सैनिक जिस जज्बे से सुरक्षा प्रदान करते है। उसका दस प्रतिशत भी सीमा के अंदर के लोग करे तो क्या मजाल किसी की कोई मंदिर के बाहर से चप्पल भी चुरा ले आंतरिक सुरक्षा ज्यादा महत्वपूर्ण है परन्तु दुर्भाग्य की यही हालत चिंताजनक बानी हुई है। कैसी सुरक्षा है हमारी जिस पर न हमें भरोसा है न हमारे नेताओ को उलटा नेता लोग अपनी निजी सुरक्षा साथ रखते है। बूढ़े के हाथ मैं लाठी हो और भैसा भी नहीं डरता एक को सुरक्षा कम उस पर जो है वो निष्ठावान नहीं पर जनता है की सहे जा रही है
